NOTE! This is the NEW-style rod and will only fit pumps made after 2008! The old conrod is no longer available.

The new rod is nearly identical to the old rod except at the piston connection; the new rods are 8mm thinner.

The manufacture change occurred in mid to late 2008. You can identify your pump with the serial number on a silver tag attached to the side of the crankcase (but it is attached with adhesive and could potentially have fallen off over the years). If the tag is still present, the serial number/manufacture date will be:

FHMMYYxxxx

FH = Manufacturer Prefix / MM = Month / YY = Year / xxxx = Production order for month

Another possible way to identify your pump as a pre-2008 pump is to inspect the flywheel and crankshaft. Anything after 2008 will be tapered and before 2008 will be straight.
