These compressor valve unloaders are for pumps that use a centrifugal unloader on the front of the pump. Some pumps use centrifugal weights in the pump to unload the pump before each start/stop cycle. This makes it easier for the pump to restart to refill the tank with compressed air. Replace the air compressor unloader valve if your machine constantly leaks air while running.
