Pump/Motor Assembly Kit
Description
This kit contains a new pump/motor assembly and additional mounting hardware. Pump mounting isolators are included for compressors previously equipped with rubber mounts.
NOTE: This new assembly will not accommodate a mounted plastic handle. Order part number WL219100AJ to obtain a new handle kit.
Allow compressor pump to completely cool before attempting to perform any maintenance or service or serious personal injury could occur.
Release all air pressure from the system then unplug unit from electrical source before attempting to install, service, relocate or perform any maintenance or serious personal injury could occur.
Disassembly
1. Loosen pressure switch cover screw and remove cover.
2. Remove the three motor wires connecting motor to pressure switch.
3. Loosen strain relief from motor wire then pull wire out of pressure switch.
4. Face cooling fan inlet of front shroud with intake filter on the right and copper discharge on the left.
5. Use a 3/4” wrench to disconnect exhaust tube from compressor (See Figure).
6. Loosen and remove pump/motor mounting screw.
7. Remove pump/motor from tank.
Assembly
1. Use new screws and isolators (if included) to attach pump/motor assembly onto tank.
2. Rewire motor wire to pressure switch then tighten strain relief.
3. Secure exhaust tube onto pump, being careful not to overtighten.
