The California Air Tools 20040SM 4.0 HP SMART Ultra-Quiet & Oil-Free 20-Gallon Stationary Air Compressor is designed to be one of the quietest 4.0 HP air compressors in the industry, having only 75 dB of sound.

What makes this "SMART" unit unique is the MDR2i OLED Smart Controller, which may be connected to mobile phones, tablets, notebooks, or computers. The controller can be used as an access point or can be connected to a Wi-Fi network. Compressor features and parameters may be entered and controlled comfortably, along with remote monitoring.

The Powerful Twin 2.0 HP (SP-9421-22060) motors operates at only 1,680 RPM, creating less noise and less wear. The SP Series of Ultra Quiet Air Compressor Motors have been designed to increase duty cycle and allow for longer continuous run times.*

The Oil-Free Dual-Piston Pump System is engineered for high performance and durability. The 20040SM Air Compressor has a Oil-Free Dual-Piston pump designed to have a life cycle before wear of 3,000+ hours.
