How-To Adjust A Pilot Unloader Valve
This short video shows how to adjust a pilot unloader valve.
IMPORTANT:Be sure to check the low and high RPM’S on the engine (e.g. the high RPM at 3,400 and the low RPM at 2,200). If the low RPM setting is too low, it can cause the engine to shut down, at the low idle speed. Oftentimes, when a pilot valve "chatters", it's due to the differential being set too close together. What this means is instead of, say, an idle PSI of 95 and a cut-off PSI of 125, it could be closer to 110/125 or 115/125.

How-To Convert A Transfer Tube
All you have to do if you have compression style fittings on either end of your supply tube is to:1. Determine the length of transfer tube that you will need. (write down this length needed) 2. Unplug your air compressor from power source to prevent accidental start up while
working. 3. Completely drain the air in your tank using your drain cock on the bottom of the tank. 4. Remove the old transfer tube from your air compressor. 5. Remove the outlet compression adaptor from

How-To Fix Pressure Loss In A Compressed Air System
A big sign of inadequate compressed air pipe is a large pressure drop at the
point of use. For instance, a 1-1/4 inch impact wrench used at 5% duty cycle might only
average 3 CFM against the system; that's not much air for even a five or ten
horsepower air compressor. However, during the brief instant that tool is used, it
will draw 55 CFM, requiring at least a 1 inch pipe. If the pipe is smaller than 1
inch, the result will be an excessive pressure drop. Pressure drops can occur

How-To Install A 130/165 Valve Plate Assembly
Take head bolts (8) out and remove the head. If the valve plate is not removed with the head, then lift it off of the cylinder
by holding each end and gently lifting it. If it will not come off by hand, use
a rubber mallet and knock it off by tapping the bottom edges of the valve
plate in an upwards motion; do not remove the valve plate by hitting the
side of the plate! Make sure to remove all gasket material off of the valve plate, head and
cylinders. This can be done by using Sc
