Description
Gasket kit for Emglo/Jenny direct-drive air compressor pump includes; head gasket, inner valve plate gasket, cylinder gasket, crankcase gasket, and crankcase cover o-ring.
If the compressor pump doesn't seem to pressurize as quickly as it should or is leaking in between the head, valve plate, cylinder, or crankcase while running, there's a good chance you need to install new gaskets. You can spray soapy water on the pump while it's running to inspect if any bubbles are forming, which would indicate a leak.
Remember to tighten the bolts down to the proper torque specs as noted by the manufacturer.
